Why Zoruvend exists
Zoruvend is a Chennai-based gym vending machine company founded by Nikesh Balamurali, a regular gym-goer who noticed how inconvenient it was to get protein snacks during workouts.
Ordering through apps like Zepto or Blinkit often meant waiting 10 minutes or more and walking outside the gym to collect orders. Nearby grocery stores were also time-consuming, with queues, billing and the walk back.
That problem led to the creation of Zoruvend.
We place vending machines inside gyms across Chennai, stocked with protein bars, healthy snacks, energy drinks and fitness products that gym-goers actually want during or after workouts. Instead of leaving the gym or waiting for deliveries, members can grab what they need in less than 30 seconds.
Our goal is simple: make pre-workout and post-workout snacks fast, convenient and easily accessible inside gyms across Chennai.

A regular gym-goer who kept running into the same problem he now solves for other people's members. Nikesh started Zoruvend in Chennai to put protein snacks inside the gym, instead of ten minutes and a walk away from it.

Zoruvend owns and manages the machine. The facility provides a suitable location, and Zoruvend runs the vending operation day to day.
No upfront machine cost
For eligible facilities, Zoruvend installs the vending machine at no upfront machine cost, subject to site assessment and agreement.
Fully managed operations
Zoruvend manages stocking, product rotation, expiry checks, maintenance, repairs and operational support.
Revenue-share opportunity
Eligible partner facilities receive a revenue-share opportunity under the agreed commercial arrangement.
